I found him in the scope, put the cross hairs a little lower than where I wanted to hit him because it was such a close shot. He still hadn't budged an inch so I exhaled and squeezed the trigger... BOOM! He never got up again. He is a deer that most people would pass up on opening day, but being this was my first chance ever to shoot a buck with a gun I didn't hesitate to fire. I tried to drag him out of the bottoms but ended up having to chop him into quarters and take him out in pieces.
